RYA Powerboat Training
As part of the RIBshare membership programme, working in partnership with approved RYA Powerboat Training schools, a nominated skipper is trained to a minimum of the RYA Powerboat Level 2 to ensure that everyone is safe and competent when out on the water.
If desired, following this initial training, we can offer you FREE confidence sessions so that when you go boating with your family and friends, you do so with confidence.

Sea based courses
- Powerboat Level 1 (1 day course)
- RYA Powerboat Level 2 (2 day course)
- RYA Powerboat Intermediate (2 day course)
- RYA Advanced Powerboat (2 day course and one night)
- ICC for 10m or 24m (2-3 day course)
- Own boat tuition (Hourly, half-day or full-day)
- Direct assessments
Land based courses
- RYA VHF Radio (1 day course)
- RYA First Aid (1 day course)
